These eggs do not need to be refrigerated. They are super fresh, so they are best kept in a cool, dry place. Refrigeration causes condensation to penetrate the eggs’ shells and sour them.
Orders for eggs must be received by 6.00pm Wednesdays.
The Broad family are dairy farmers at Bodalla and the pastured egg enterprise is young Lachlan’s project. These eggs are true pastured eggs, layed by happy hens doing their chicken thing.
Eggs are collected every day and Lachie makes sure the eggs he sells are never more than 3 days old.
